This site is an online application developed by IOW in order to
allow for the analysis and charting of various stock market, and
the holding of personal portfolio.
Initially Integrastock came to IOW in order to revamp an existing
software which was client based using the windows operating system.
IOW demonstrated the power of converting the software to an online
delivery and now the software is used in three countries of the
world covering four different stock markets.
Integrastock’s capacity to expand quickly was enhanced by
the internet delivery of their application. This is a true web based
application. It is not a web site. The Application does everything
that the original client based application did and much more. By
developing an online system IOW has allowed for rapid expansion,
flexibility and easier deployment of new versions of the software.
In this case the client themselves only requires a basic web browser
and for the use of the software the installation of Macromedia Flash.
Both of these softwares are commonly found on all workstations and
client machines regardless of the operating system.
For this reason the software is easily deployed globally, another
factor which makes the software easily deployed over multiple marketplaces
with the use of a technology which IOW calls skinning. The various
skins can be applied to exactly the same base code. This means that
in Hong Kong we have a Chinese skin. This skin is exactly the same
software with just a different interface. Naturally all the software
can be skinned into multiple different skins. This allows the user
to be able to chose the interface they are most comfortable with,
whilst maintaining the stability of all the core code and the usability
of the system.
